Absolutely! As soon as you’re certified as a Massachusetts Medical Marijuana patient, we would love to meet you!
Medical marijuana dispensaries in Massachusetts are not allowed to certify patients for the medical use of cannabis. To qualify as a patient you must obtain a certification from a qualifying licensed physician. A qualifying physician is a Massachusetts licensed physician (Medical Doctor or Doctor of Osteopathy) registered with the Massachusetts Department of Public Health who certifies that in his or her professional opinion, the potential benefits of medical use of cannabis would likely outweigh any health risks that may be associated. If you are having difficulty locating a physician you can search the internet for “MA Medical Marijuana Doctors” to find a qualified licensed physician with the Massachusetts Department of Public Health. The qualifying physician will evaluate you to determine if you are qualified for the medical use of cannabis program. If you are qualified, your physician will issue you a certification through the Massachusetts Department of Public Health MMJ Online System. Once your physician has issued you a certification, he or she will give you instructions on how to register through the MMJ Online System and a Personal Identification Number (PIN). This PIN is required for you to register in the MMJ Online System.

Insa will provide a professional service to those in the community who are suffering from severe illnesses. It will relieve qualified patients from attempting to obtain cannabis for medical use by either producing their own or obtaining it through illegal means. Cannabis for medical use is for qualified patients who receive a recommendation from their bona fide physician. As a non-profit organization, Insa is committed to fundamentally improving the lives of patients in the community. To fulfill our mission, Insa looks to partner with organizations that will help toward the furtherance of our non-profit mission. Insa will enhance public health services provided to the community by providing educational services regarding the safe and effective use of medical cannabis, as well as the risk of addiction and abuse.
Patient safety and confidentiality are our highest priorities. INSA uses state-of-the-art security systems and procedures to ensure that your experience is safe, discreet and enjoyable.
MA law allows a qualifying patient to possess up to a 60-day supply of cannabis for his or her personal medical use. The regulations define a 60-day supply as up to 10 ounces, except in limited circumstances.
